Trends & DataSTR Global: North-western hotel performance in January 2008(13 August 2008 16:19)Hotels in the North-west saw revenue per available room (revpar) fall by 1.4% during the month of January. Revpar was £44.29 in January 2008, compared with £44.92 in the corresponding month of 2007, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global. Occupancy dropped by 2.1 percentage points to 62.8%, while average room rate nudged ahead by 1.9% to £70.49, compared with £69.19 in January 2008.
