NEC Group reveals further details of new leisure and entertainment development

The NEC Group has revealed further details of its £90m leisure and entertainment complex, which is due to open on site in 2012.

Resorts World@ The NEC will create 1,000 jobs and contain a four-star hotel, spa, bars, restaurants, conference halls and a casino.

The new complex is being billed as one of the largest leisure developments in the UK and marks the first phase of a plan to add a range of leisure and business facilities to the existing exhibition spaces and arena at Birmingham's NEC.

The NEC Arena was renamed the LG Arena as part of a major sponsorship deal on 1 September.
