Elior recruits new finance director

Contract caterer and facilities management company Elior UK has appointed a new finance director.

Phil Foster, previously director of corporate finance for Brakes, assumes a position on the company's senior management team and responsibility for finance, legal and IT functions.

Foster, who has also worked for Princes Foods and as an auditor and corporate finance manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, will be based at Elior's Courtyard office in Macclesfield and will oversee a combined team of 127.

Elior has also appointed Anne-Marie Morrissey as IT director. She was business systems manager at the company and will report into Foster in her new role.

Michael Audis, chief executive of Elior UK, said: "These are both important appointments for us. I welcome Phil's experience and expertise to our leadership team and his innovative approach will be a significant asset to us."

In July it was revealed that Elior's managing director of its facilities management division, Andrew Mortimer, had left his role late last year.
