The cliff-top Manor hotel in the coastal tourist village of Mundesley On Sea in Norfolk has changed hands.

New owners Terry and Nicky Burch formerly owned the Hadleigh Gables hotel in Great Yarmouth.

The hotel is a mix of two- and three-storey elements with single-storey extensions and a two-storey bedroom block. The main building was constructed in 1989 as a coaching hotel.

Facilities include 26 en-suite bedrooms, two lounge bars, a residents’ lounge and a cocktail bar and conservatory

The 80-seat restaurant/function room has a dance floor and links to two interconnected conference rooms, each with sea views.

When all three rooms are used as a large function suite, restaurant customers can be accommodated in the Bar Victoriana and Grill Room down the road.

The hotel also provides two double, en-suite staff bedrooms, an outdoor swimming pool, rear gardens, parking for 30 cars and a hairdressing salon that is let on lease.

In the nine months to 30 June 2007, the hotel generated an ex-VAT income of £477,097.

The Suffolk office of Fleurets sold the freehold on the Manor hotel off a guide price of £875,000. Christie Finance provided funding for the transaction.
