Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises has bought four pubs in East Anglia from Suffolk-based brewer and pub operator Adnams.

The four freehold pubs were sold through Christie + Co off a combined guide price of £1.2m as part of a tranche of nine pubs that Adnams put on the market.

Two of the properties, the two-bar County Arms and the Grand Old Duke, are in Ipswich. Both provide outside seating/smoking areas and private accommodation, while the County Arms has  potential letting bedrooms.
 
The transaction also included the Plasterers Arms in Norwich and the Two Brewers in Diss. Both include private accommodation and the Diss venue contains rooms that could be converted into letting bedrooms.
