PropertyS&N pays £1.2m for four Adnams pubs(09 October 2008 11:58)Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises has bought four pubs in East Anglia from Suffolk-based brewer and pub operator Adnams. The four freehold pubs were sold through Christie + Co off a combined guide price of £1.2m as part of a tranche of nine pubs that Adnams put on the market. Two of the properties, the two-bar County Arms and the Grand Old Duke, are in Ipswich. Both provide outside seating/smoking areas and private accommodation, while the County Arms has potential letting bedrooms. Article continues below
