Thomas Keller retains three Michelin stars in new San Francisco guide
French Laundry in California has retained its three-stars in Michelin's guide to San Francisco, Bay Area and Wine Country for the third year running.
The Thomas Keller-owned restaurant in Napa Valley, where British chef Claire Clark is head pastry chef, has remained the only establishment in the guide with the top accolade of three stars.
Now in its third edition, the Michelin guide to San Francisco, Bay Area and Wine Country, which is released today, lists a total of 383 restaurants including 32 holding stars. These include six two-starred and 25 starred establishments as well as 55 with the Bib Gourmand status.
Next to the San Francisco, Bay Area and Wine Country guide, Michelin currently publishes three editions in the USA including guides for New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
The group's New York guide, which was released last week, features four restaurants holding the top accolade of three stars as well as seven two-starred, and 31 starred establishments.
