Trends & DataNorth-eastern weekly hotel performance to 12 October, 2008(15 October 2008 12:42)Hotels in the North-east saw revenue per available room (revpar) rise by 2.79% in the week ending 12 October, 2008, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global. Revpar was £61.15 compared with £59.49 in the equivalent week of 2007. Occupancy increased by 2.73 percentage points to 81.05% while average room rate dropped by 0.66% to £75.45, compared with £75.95 in the corresponding week of 2007.
