Former hotel inspector fronts Channel 4 hotel start-ups series

Ruth Watson, the former Hotel Inspector, is to return to television in a new Channel 4 series featuring hotel start-ups.

The programme, called Dream Hotel, will follow the birth of six new hotels from the very early stages of takeover or purchase, right through to opening night.

Channel 4 is looking for people who are starting up their own hotel or guesthouse business to take part in the series.

The hoteliers will be advised and consulted through the start-up process by Watson, who was replaced on Five show The Hotel Inspector by Alex Polizzi.

The production company behind Dream Hotel, Betty, wants to speak to people who are in the early stages of getting a hotel business up and running. It is ideally aiming for those with no background in the industry.
