Hotel marketing consortia 2008 – Industry data
Best Western remained the UK's largest hotel marketing consortium in 2008, counting 285 member hotels with a combined 15,305 bedrooms.
The 140-strong Independents Hotel Association retained its grip on the second place thanks to a total tally of 9,000 bedrooms. This was 2,000 fewer than in 2007 when the group numbered more than 180 hotels.
These facts and figures are reported in British Hospitality: Trends and Statistics 2008, published by the British Hospitality Association.
