York & Albany is Gordon Ramsay's "sexiest eating space", says critic
Giles Coren at Gordon Ramsay's York & Albany describes lunch for two at £40 as "the deal of the decade" in his write up for The Times.
Returning to the North London eaterie, which is headed by chef Colin Buchan under Angela Hartnett's direction, in the evening Coren witnesses a transformation that he thinks makes the York & Albany the "funnest, sexiest eating space in all of Gordon's restaurants".
The Observer's Jay Rayner thinks Tierra Brindisa's tapas from Soho, London, is on par with that of Barcelona.
Matthew Norman at Dragon Castle likes the retro gaudiness of the South-east London site and finds some good dishes on the menu. However he asks why "potenitaly outstanding Chinese restaurants so often damage themselves with the chilly froideur of their service".
