Fosters Event Catering retains contract at Oxford Town Hall

Events and concessions caterer Fosters Event Catering has retained a three-year contract worth more than £1.5m in total turnover to provide services at Oxford Town Hall.

The independent caterer, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2009, provides catering for corporate events and weddings for up to 500 people at the town hall, as well as supporting regular local community events there.

Fosters has also been placed on the preferred suppliers list at the Bodleian Library, part of the University of Oxford.

Neil Lodge, chief executive of Fosters, said: "We are obviously delighted to have won the Oxford contract again which further cements the excellent relationship we have already with Oxford and promises to be a mutually beneficial union."

In the summer Fosters won a three-year contract worth £3m in totality to provide services at the town hall and Pitville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham.

Fosters, which runs the Jacks Brasserie in Bristol, is sole caterer at sites including Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and Bath Rugby.
