Ping Pong tops list of hospitality operators in Fast Track 100
Seven hospitality operators have made it into this year's Sunday Times Fast Track 100 list.
Top of the hospitality pile was restaurant operator Ping Pong at 33rd in the Fast Track, which highlights the UK's quickest growing companies by sales.
The group's annual sales growth since launching in 2004 is 90.89%, with annual turnover now at £10.6m and more than four hundred staff on board.
One place behind Ping Pong in the list was hotel operator Kew Green Hotels. The company, which was founded in 2001 and runs the largest Holiday Inn Express in Europe at Stansted Airport under franchise from InterContinental Hotel Group, posted sales growth of 90.73% during the past three years. It has turnover of £37.4m with 720 staff.
Subway franchiser Fast and Fresh in Lancashire came in at number 70 on the list of fastest growing companies. The company has experienced an annual compound sales growth rate during the last three years of 64.55% with annual turnover of £6.53m and some 350 employees.
The remaining operators were, at 72, Burger King franchisee Caspian UK Group; the Sloane Square hotel in London at 73; ExCel and Earls Court fixed-site and venue caterer Creativevents at 94; and Sheffield restaurant company Felicini at 99.
