Punch Taverns to overhaul leased pubs business
Punch Taverns is overhauling its leased business and central support teams as part of ongoing moves to cut running costs.
The pub group, which announced the departure of three senior directors earlier today, is changing its leased business from eight to four operating divisions, while creating a new division focused on underperforming pubs.
"We are continuing to consult with a number of central support teams and will keep them informed of our proposals on an ongoing basis," Punch said, in a statement.
Earlier today, Punch announced that the roles of commercial director, strategy director and corporate affairs director will be redundant, meaning that Jonathan Paveley, Tracy Jones and Nigel Turpin will be leaving the business over the coming months.
