Sodexo appoints new executive chef at Directors Table

Sodexo has appointed Jim Norris as executive chef at its fine-dining division Directors Table.

Norris joins from Green and Fortune, operator of King's Cross art centre Kings Place, where he oversaw the 140-seat Rotunda restaurant and bar, Fortune café and events.

Norris was executive head chef with Searcys 1847 for more than six years at its contract at law firm Allen & Overy.

The appointment sees him reunited with recently installed Directors Table business director James Greetham, who joined Sodexo as business director last November having held a similar role at Searcys.

Greetham said: "Jim is a first rate chef who champions great food and service, and who is committed to sourcing local, sensitively grown produce. I have no doubt that with his drive and enthusiasm; he will make a significant difference to Directors Table."
