TripAdvisor expands restaurant review coverage

Peer-to-peer website TripAdvisor has expanded the amount of restaurant reviews on its site to more than two million.

The website now hosts some 500,000 restaurants in 24,000 cities around the world in addition to its 20 million hotel and travel reviews.

The company has also signed reciprocal agreements with TopTable in the UK and OpenTable in the US to enable its 32 million monthly visitors to make restaurant bookings.

TripAdvisor recently named the Cromwell Crown as the dirtiest hotel in the UK.
