Charlton House makes promotion to executive chef team

Charlton House chef Mo Vaitusi has been promoted to the contract caterer's executive chef team.

Mo Vaitusi, executive head chef at the company's BDO Stoy Hayward contract on Baker Street in London will, from 1 April, join Mike Brown, Dean Drewe and David Bridge under the directorship of David Cavalier, food director of Charlton House, on the team.

Vaitusi will focus on Charlton House's portfolio of London City fine dining contracts in his expanded role.

Cavalier said: "In his new role Mo brings to Charlton House a wealth of international experience, which coupled with his enthusiasm for food, results in the highest culinary craft skills."

Vaitusi joined the caterer in 2006 having worked at London's Claridge's, FIN Restaurant in Sydney and Bistro 301 in San Francisco.

Charlton House last week announced a major education win with an extension to its deal at Regent's College in the capital.
