Attic cocktail bar to open on 48th floor of the Pan Peninsula
Greenwich's Inc Group is launching a new cocktail bar next week, with the opening of the Attic at the Pan Peninsula building in London's Docklands on 26 March.
Set on the 48th floor of the 780-apartment building, which also includes a cinema and a health club, the Attic will be a 100-seat bar offering 360 degree views over the capital and neighbouring Canary Wharf.
Inc Group will also launch a 300-cover restaurant including a bar and outside terrace at the Pan Peninsula, which will be called the Gramercy, in September, making the group the sole hospitality operator at the site.
Owner Frank Dowling told Caterersearch the outlets will not be aimed at the Canary Wharf audience but rather targeted at residents and office workers in the Docklands and Isle of Dogs area.
"There's no real hospitality offering in the area," Dowling said.
Inc Group also operates a number of dining outlets at the O2 and throughout Greenwich, where it runs the Trafalgar Tavern pub and the Spread Eagle restaurant.
It is to relaunch its Raan restaurant at the O2 in June as an American-themed restaurant and bar called Union Square.
