Critic reveals mixed feelings about London's High Timber restaurant

The Independent's Tracey MacLeod has mixed feeling about High Timber from Jordan Wines in London.

She finds a great wine list and a spectacular Thames-side location, but says the food, although decent, is not memorable.
MacLeod also notes that despite claims of dining in a casual South African atmosphere there's "more than a touch of wine-tour formality about the High Timber experience".

Chef Mark Hix can apparently do no wrong though, and Rachel Johnson from The Sunday Times enjoys a heavenly combination of fresh fish and idyllic views at Hix Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis Dorset.
