Event caterer Dish opens new office in Manchester
London-based event caterer Dish has opened an office in Manchester in a bid to expand its business north.
Located in the heart of the city's business district, the new office will provide a foothold for Dish to offer catering and event management services to local businesses and to exploit opportunities throughout the North West.
Nick James, joint-director with Fiona Stewart-Brown, said the independent caterer was close to clinching its first venue listing and has four more in the pipeline. He added that there had been a number of event enquiries prior to the office opening.
"We were approached by London clients to do events in Manchester and we realised there was a gap in the market," said James. "We backed out of opening an office up there four years ago, but we feel that now is a good time."
Dish is listed at 20 venues around London, including No.4 Hamilton Place, Madame Tussauds, Dali Universe, the Natural History Museum, The Magic Circle and The Roundhouse.
The Manchester office will be run by business development manager Pollie Isherwood and sales manager Ben Harrop.
