Restaurants at Work notches up HQ contract
Contract caterer Restaurants at Work has won a contract worth £200,000 a year to provide catering services at housing provider Sanctuary Group's Worcester HQ.
Under the terms of the three-year deal, the Epsom-based caterer will provide catering and hospitality services for more than 300 Sanctuary employees, plus visitors.
The caterer has re-branded the staff restaurant and introduced a number of additional services, including a salad and deli bar. These initiatives were launched on 30 March and have already generated a 30% increase in the number of staff using the restaurant, according to Sanctuary's corporate facilities manager June Cardall.
Stephen Pilkington, business development director at Restaurants at Work, commented: "Sanctuary recognised our commitment to using quality, fresh food and to providing a varied menu, which makes the most of available ingredients."
Restaurants at Work's newly-formed education division recently picked up its first school dinners contract in a deal worth £360,000 in total turnover.
The new division, Restaurants at School, now runs the school dinners service at Sheen Mount Primary School in East Sheen, Richmond, in a three-year deal worth £120,000 in annual turnover.
