Andaz hosts Bistrotheque during London Restaurant Festival
Bistrotheque, the ‘underground' dining concept, is to set up a pop-up Supersonic Masonic Supper club within the Andaz hotel during the London Restaurant Festival in October.
The announcement is the latest in a series of revelations of top chefs including Pierre Koffmann taking part in the inaugural week-long festival arranged by Fay Maschler and Simon Davis.
Pablo Flack, co-proprietor of Bistrotheque and the force behind other dining destinations 333, the Shoreditch Electricity Showrooms and the Bricklayers Arms, said: "We have teamed up with the nice chaps at Andaz and will be taking over their Grade I-listed Masonic Temple for the 50-seat, three night only Supersonic Masonic Supper Club. We are very excited to be taking over such a legendary space, after all Jack The Ripper was rumoured to be a member of this lodge."
Andaz's general manager, Arnaud de Saint Exupery, added: "The hotel has a very diverse offering and it's time we started to show her off. Our Masonic Temple, for example, has been shrouded in secrecy for too long and so we welcome in the Bistrotheque team to take over the space during the festival. We are also very excited to be part of the first London Restaurant Festival."
The Masonic Temple will be live at Andaz Hotel Liverpool Street from 8 to 10 October.
