Booker now selling more than 350 000 keg pints a week

Booker, the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler, is now selling more than 350 000 pints of lager, beer and cider a week in keg sales. This means Booker supplies more than 18 million pints a year to the on-trade.

More than 4000 kegs are being sold nationally as more and more licensees are using Booker as a top-up service with longer opening hours both at evening and weekends.

Top brands such as Guinness, Carling, John Smiths, Fosters and Strongbow are all available in 11 gallon kegs and have continued to grow in popularity. Booker is ideal to help licensees for those unexpected summer demand, parties or emergency purchases.

"Forecasting is very dependent on the weather, so Booker can help Licensees when the sun shines or they receive an unexpected party booking. We are finding this is particularly helpful over the weekend, where customers can simply come in and top up or ring and reserve their keg order for collection.
