Sodexo extends Balmoral Estates contract by five years
Sodexo will continue to provide catering services at Balmoral Estates in Scotland, in a five-year contract extension worth £800,000.
Under the deal Sodexo, which has provided the catering and hospitality at Balmoral since 2003, will continue to manage private and corporate functions at the castle as well as the visitors' coffee shop.
Graham Box, managing director for Sodexo Scotland, said the caterer was delighted to have renewed the contract.
"Over the years we have built up a long standing relationship with the client. We will continue to work with them to meet their business needs," he said.
Last week, Sodexo secured a string of contracts to provide catering services at the University of Stirling in Scotland worth an estimated £9m in total turnover.
The five-year deal, which begins in October, will see Sodexo deliver catering, vending and hospitality services to the university's 10,000 students and 2,000 staff as well commercial customers.
