Visit London Awards unveil 2009 shortlist
Hospitality operators from across the capital have been shortlisted in the Visit London Awards 2009.
Now in their sixth year, the awards, which are run in conjunction with BT, recognise excellence across the tourism industry.
Awards are divided into 15 categories including small hotel/B&B of the year, large hotel of the year, budget accommodation of the year, outstanding customer service award and best gastronomic experience.
Shortlisted entries include Galvin at Windows, the InterContinental London Park Lane and the Bingham hotel in Richmond as well as Vinopolis and the operations team at the Cavendish Hotel.
Sally Chatterjee, interim CEO Visit London said: "The BT Visit London Awards celebrate London's world-class tourism offer and recognise and reward outstanding achievement within the industry.
"I congratulate all of the finalists and wish them the best of luck."
The Visit London awards ceremony will be held at Westfield London on 5 November.
