Fuller, Smith and Turner scoops eight best beer awards
Family brewer Fuller, Smith and Turner scooped eight awards at this year's International Beer Challenge competition including a gold medal for Golden Pride ale.
Fuller's other brands Discovery, ESB, London Porter, Glaes HSB, London Pride, 1845 and Organic Honey Dew were amongst the beers recognised in the competition.
More than 30 industry experts blind tasted 300 beers for the competition before awarding gold, silver and bronze medals to outstanding beers and ales on the market.
"The IBC is the world's largest packaged beer competition and I'm delighted that so many of our terrific bottled ales have been recognised in this way," said John Roberts, managing director of Fuller's Beer Company.
The gold medal winners, including Golden Pride, will be subjected to a second round of tasting to determine seven category winners and an overall champion, which will be announced at an award's event on 14 October.
