Royal Garden Hotel promotes Robert Shorter to head concierge

Robert Shorter has been promoted to head concierge at the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, just three months after joining the property as assistant head concierge.

Having previously worked at a number of other five star London hotels, including the Lanesborough and the Four Seasons Hotel on Park Lane, Shorter is enthusiastic about the challenge ahead.

"I am extremely honoured to have been offered the role of head concierge at such a prestigious hotel and it gives me great pleasure to be part of a such a professional and happy team," he said.

The Royal Garden is currently undergoing a staggered refurbishment, which is due for completion in March 2010.
