Heathcotes Outside to cater for Royal Variety Performance in Blackpool
Events caterer Heathcotes Outside has won the contract to provide catering at this year's Royal Variety Performance, which this year will take place at the Opera House, Blackpool.
Heathcotes is to provide a three-course meal for the after-show party in Blackpool's Winter Gardens for around 500 guests and pre-show canapés and drinks for 100 guests.
The contract is estimated to be worth around £50,000.
Gary Bates, Heathcotes Outside managing director, said: "This is a hugely important event for everybody concerned and is a familiar fixture on the national entertainment calendar.
"To be able to play a role in its success is hugely gratifying and based on our reputation for delivering consistent catering solutions for our clients while maintaining the very highest standards of food and service."
The 81st performance is due to be hosted by Bolton's award-winning comedian Peter Kay and returns to Blackpool for the first time since 1955. It takes place on 7 December, and acts include Bette Midler, Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Buble.
