Restaurant Associates wins £25m contract with Aviva
Restaurant Associates, Compass Group's executive dining division, has added another high-profile win to the catering giant's burgeoning portfolio in the form of a new contract with Aviva worth £25m in total.
The five-year deal with the UK's largest insurance company, previously known as Norwich Union, has helped push Compass' total revenue from new business to £260m since the start of October 2009.
Andy Harris, sales director for Compass Group UK & Ireland, said, "It has been a fantastic start to the financial year for Compass with some significant new contract wins including Lloyds Banking Group, Aviva and King's College Hospital.
"Our success, despite tough economic times, is testimony to our passion for delivering great food and great service and we are particularly proud of our latest win with Aviva."
The Aviva contract was won following a competitive tender process managed by Stern Consultancy. Restaurant Associates will provide catering, hospitality and meeting room services to the insurance firm's 22 UK sites.
As well as hot meals and grab-and-go options, Costa Coffee will be introduced and fine dining will be provided at the London and Norwich offices.
