Living Room MD to leave following acquisition by the Orchid Group

Living Room managing director Danny Fox is to leave his role to pursue other opportunities within the industry.

The move follows the Orchid Group's acquisition of 43 businesses from Premium Bars & Restaurants, which went into administration in August.

The deal, which includes 13 Living Room sites, will see Fox remain temporarily at the company to ensure a smooth handover.

Fox said: "I've learned a lot from developing The Living Room and had a great time doing it. It's a fantastic brand and I'm happy to leave it in the capable hands of Orchid Pubs & Dining. Orchid is well placed to pick up the reins and their expertise will no doubt take The Living Room forward."

Rufus Hall, CEO of the Orchid Group added: "We wish Danny every future success and appreciate his support."
