Jurys Inns and Premier Inn scoop Business Travel Awards

Jurys Inns and Premier Inn are the winners of the two hotel categories in the Business Travel Awards 2010, held at London's Grosvenor House hotel.

Jurys Inns beat off competition from City Inn, Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, and Von Essen Hotels to be named Best Small or Independent Hotel Brand, while Premier Inn was voted the Best Hotel Group Brand, with Accor and the Rezidor Hotel Group as runners-up.

John Brennan, chief executive officer of Jurys Inns said that he was very proud that the company had been recognised as the best independent hotel brand and said that the company's warm welcome and good Irish hospitality had contributed to its success.
