Salon Culinaire announces Best in Class winners and awards

The organisers of Le Salon Culinaire International de Londres have announced the special awards and winners of best in class from Hotelympia 2010.

Kitchen/larder

Open Team Grand Prix - House of Commons Culinary Team for La Parade des Chefs (gold medal) and buffet (gold in all three sections)

Pastry - Sandra Grice, Preston College for her decorative exhibit (P1)

Sugarcraft - Lily Gray, Brooklands College for her wedding cake (P9)

Restaurant plates - Terry Lumley, Restaurant Associates, Lehman Brothers for restaurant plates, vegetarian (K7)

Junior Grand Prix d'Honneur - Glen Sharman, Pennyhill Park Hotel & Spa, Bagshot for his decorative exhibit (JP1)

Senior Grand Prix d'Honneur - Sandra Grice, Preston College for her decorative exhibit
