Buyer wanted for planned 172-bedroom hotel in Bournemouth
A buyer is being sought for a proposed 172-bedroom hotel development in Bournemouth, Dorset.
Grosvenor Developments has received outline planning consent for the hotel on the A35 Wessex Way intersection, which will enjoy seaviews and is within easy walking distance of the Bournemouth International Centre.
The proposed hotel will form part of a mixed-use scheme which will include 120 residential apartments and 1,200sqm of offices.
Adjacent to a 935-space multi-storey car park with direct access to a major retailing area, the hotel will have a bar lounge, restaurant and meeting rooms.
The site is available as a development opportunity on a long lease at peppercorn rent.
"This is a really exciting and rare opportunity to deliver a quality new build hotel suitable for international branding into a robust trading market, where there is very little branded, let alone new generation hotel product, " Jonathan Parrish, head of investment at Christie + Co, the company marketing the development.
