JD Wetherspoon buys two pubs from TCG Acquisitions

JD Wetherspoon has bought the leasehold of two pubs from managed pub operator TCG Acquisitions for undisclosed sums.

Property firm Christie + Co brokered the deal for the Bar Baja in Leeds and the Ivory Lounge, a lounge-bar in the centre of Edinburgh.

Meanwhile the Ivory Lounge, in the heart of Edinburgh city centre, is a lounge bar with split-level trading areas and capacity for 120 people.

The sale came as part of an ongoing review by TCG, which operates around 150 pubs, into its estate.
