Brakes buys butcher Browns Food Service

Brakes Group has bought catering butcher Browns Food Service to strengthen its specialist meat offer.
Warwickshire-based Browns will remain a specialist business within the group, retaining its individual identity, customers and product range, alongside Brakes' other specialist butchery business, Prime Meats.
Ian Goldsmith, Brakes Group chief operating officer, said: "Through the acquisition of Browns Food Service we are able to significantly strengthen our meat and butchery offer to customers".
