Dame Judi Dench launches Lingfield Park Marriott hotel

Oscar-winning actress Dame Judi Dench has officially opened the £29m Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club](http://www.marriott.co.uk/hotels/travel/lgwgs-lingfield-park-marriott-hotel-and-country-club/) in Surrey.

She unveiled the new four-star, 116-bedroom property as the first on-site, integrated racecourse hotel, spa and golf resort in the UK.

"With such breathtaking surrounding, this is a unique venue, which I'm certain will be enjoyed by everyone that has the opportunity to stay and visit," said Dame Judi, a local resident and avid race goer, after cutting the ribbon.

The Breathe Spa at the hotel includes a swimming pool, spa bath and Hammam massage suite, while the 18-hole golf course features a golf teaching academy. At the heart of the hotel, the Cyprium Bar & Grill includes an open plan kitchen.
