Michelin launches Chicago guide
Michelin is expanding its coverage in the USA, with the launch of a guide to the city of Chicago.
Michelin's new guide, set to hit stores in November, is the third in the USA after New York and San Francisco. The group's guides to Las Vegas and Los Angeles ceased to be published last year.
Michelin director Jean-Luc Naret said the rich history, diversity and depth of Chicago's restaurant scene made it the logical choice for the next edition in Michelin's US series.
"As with our guides to New York City and San Francisco, we are making every effort to produce a comprehensive selection that does full justice to the region's exciting restaurant and hotel culture and also meets our readers' expectations," he said.
Michelin now publishes 25 different guides listing hotels and restaurants in 23 countries across three continents.
