Be At One opens 10th site
London-based cocktail bar chain Be At One is set to open its 10th outlet this week.
The new venue on Old Street in Shoreditch will be Be At One's largest, with capacity for 300 people.
Be At One said the new opening was in line with its strategy to accelerate its opening programme in London, focussing on key local communities. Shoreditch is the first of three openings targeted for this year with another five sites planned for 2011/12.
The bar will be decorated with strong references to the classic cocktail bars of the 1930s hotels and ocean liners, according to the firm.
It will open seven days a week and will have a late license until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Earlier this year Be At One reported annual revenues up a third to £6.75m, generating earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of £1.4m.
Rhys Oldfield, co-founder of Be At One, commented: "Shoreditch is a vibrant area with a great reputation for an exciting nightlife. We are confident Be At One will be a welcome addition. The new site will see a change in design but will strictly adhere to all the traditional attributes of the Be At One bar: great cocktails, professional friendly service and great tunes."
It opens its doors on Tursday 29 July.
