Luxury spa hotel to open in Essex
A luxury spa hotel is set to be launched in Thorpe-le-Soken, Essex, at the end of the year following a £30m redevelopment in the grounds of Thorpe Hall.
Lifehouse will open with 100 bedrooms and 35 treatment rooms, together with a gym, outdoor fitness circuit, yoga/Pilates studio, swimming pool, thermal spa area and hair salon.
It is being developed by Tangram Leisure, a private company supported by Hotbed - a private investor network - and Clydesdale Bank.
Architects and interior designers, the Manser Practice](http://www.manser.co.uk/), are responsible for the look of the contemporary development, which will complement the preserved Georgian house, which is set in 135 acres of grounds and 12 acres of listed gardens.
Lifehouse, which will not accept under 16s, will cater for day guests as well as residents. Overnight packages for under £250 will include accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner, access to all spa facilities and one 25 minute treatment.
