Luke Johnson buys restaurant and takeaway chain Feng Sushi
Luke Johnson, the former PizzaExpress and Channel 4 chairman, has taken control of six-strong restaurant and takeaway chain Feng Sushi.
Johnson, who has just gained a majority stake in Ego Restaurants, has acquired a majority holding in the 11-year old London-based Feng Sushi.
Following the deal Johnson owns 92.5% of the business, with the only other shareholder being managing director and co-founder Silla Bjerrum.
Johnson said: "I've been a customer of Feng Sushi for several years, and have regularly used the delivery service from the Notting Hill Branch.
"You could say that I like the company so much that I want to be part of its future growth. I believe there is huge potential, particularly in the online booking and delivery areas of the business."
Feng Sushi's sites are located in Fulham, Kensington, Notting Hill, the South Bank, Camden and Borough Market.
Silla Bjerrum and Jeremy Rose founded Feng Sushi in Fulham in 1999.
