Pride of Britain and National Trust in partnership

Pride of Britain Hotels and the National Trust (NT) have formed a new commercial partnership to support the work of the conservation charity.

From October, 5% of the value of all hotel bookings attributable to NT members made to the 39 hotels represented by the Pride of Britain consortium, will be paid to the charity. There will be no additional charge to guests.

Pride of Britain chief executive Peter Hancock said he was confident that the consortium's collection of independent hotels could offer NT members and supporters the best hospitality to be found in their areas.

"The three Historic House Hotels, now owned by the trust, are members of Pride of Britain so with these and our other hotels it's the perfect fit," he said.

Pride of Britain, which has seen the value of centrally placed reservations increase so far this year by 15% on 2009, has welcomed seven new members this year: Linthwaite House, Cumbria; the Feathers at Woodstock, Oxfordshire; the Grand, Jersey; the Montague Arms, Hampshire; Ashdown Park, near East Grinstead, East Sussex; Tylney Hall, Hampshire and Luton Hoo, Bedforshire.
