Sceptre Leisure to supply Punch with amusement machines
Sceptre Leisure Solutions has won a two-year supply agreement with managed licensed retail operator Punch Pub Company (PPC).
Sceptre is set to supply coin-operated amusement equipment including amusement with prizes (AWP) machines, pool tables and music systems to approximately 30% of the Punch estate, including brands such as Chef & Brewer.
Claire Naylor, key accounts director at Sceptre, said: "An award of this size, from an organisation as well respected as Punch Pub Company, is very exciting and is testament to the quality of our service proposition and the value we provide. We are delighted to begin this customer-supplier relationship, which we hope will develop over the next couple of years.
Sceptre will start supplying Punch in October.
The news comes as Sceptre Leisure Solutions' parent company, Sceptre Leisure, unveiled a 37% increase in pre-tax profits to £1.9m for the 12 months to 30 April 2010. Turnover increased 9% to £42.8m while the company reduced its net debt to £15.9m from £19.5m.
