Restaurants at Work goes into administration

Independent contract caterer Restaurants at Work has today (Friday) gone into administration and BaxterStorey has acquired the trading assets of the former business.

Noel Mahony, managing director, BaxterStorey confirmed the move to Caterersearch.com.

"We are currently in the process of engaging in communications with the former Restaurants at Work clients," he said.

"At this stage we are looking to provide a continuation of client catering services. Our priority is to open channels of communication with the former Restaurants at Work clients in order to best protect their investment in catering services, whilst simultaneously reassuring those former employees of Restaurants at Work who have now transferred to BaxterStorey."

The bulk of the 24 contracts that have been take over by BaxterStorey were business and industry.

BaxterStorey has assumed employment of 180 Restaurants at Work personnel.
