Hilton announces new spa brand

Hilton Worldwide has unified its global spa business under the newly launched Eforea: spa at Hilton brand.

The hotel company, which operates 123 spas at sites around the world, said the introduction of a single brand would allow it to draw together best practice from across the globe, as well as offering developers a consistent spa standard.

The first Eforea spa has debuted at the Hilton Short Hills hotel in New Jersey in the United States, and there are currently 80 more Hilton properties in development that will feature spas.

Dave Horton, global head of the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, said: "Eforea delivers the high standards guests expect from Hilton and further reinforces our position as the stylish, forward-thinking leader of global hospitality."

Earlier this month, Hilton announced a global rebrand of its Doubletree business, which is to become known globally as DoubleTree by Hilton, the name the brand has traded under in the UK since its debut in 2008.
