Aramark switches to free-range eggs
Aramark has announced that it has switched all of its supplies of shell eggs to free-range, without passing any extra costs on to its clients.
The caterer will now only supply free-range shell eggs into its business from its mainstream supplier.
Debbie Walter, supply chain director, Aramark, said: "Our farmers use breeds specially selected for good ranging and hardiness.
"We are delighted to be in a position to announce that all of our free-range farms are Freedom Food (RSPCA) approved and meet all their quality standards."
These products come from free-range hens which are free to roam from dawn to dusk on pasture and have shelter when they want it.
