Sarova buys Windsor's Sir Christopher Wren House hotel

The four-star, 95-bedroom Sir Christopher Wren's House hotel and spa in Windsor has been bought out of administration by Sarova Hotels for an undisclosed price.

Previously owned by the Wren's Hotel Group operated by Croatian hotelier Goran Strok, the hotel overlooks the River Thames and stands beneath the ramparts of Windsor Castle.

The acquisition is the fourth hotel to join the Sarova portfolio which includes the Rembrandt in London's Knightsbridge, the Bull in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, and the Abbey in Great Malvern, Worcestershire. All are four-star properties.

Sarova intends to invest in the hotel and current staff in order to help the property achieve its full potential.
