Robyn Jones is named one of the top 10 UK female entrepreneurs

Robyn Jones OBE, co-founder and chief executive of CH&Co, has been named one of the 10 most successful female entrepreneurs in the UK.

Martha Lane Fox, the co-founder of Lastminute.com; Tamara Mellon, the entrepreneur behind the Jimmy Choo brand; and Linda Bennett of the aspirational LK Bennett brand; also feature on the list by Growing Business magazine.

Jones, who was recently awarded an OBE in the New Year honours list for her services to the hospitality industry, co-founded CH&Co with her husband, Tim Jones, in 1991.

The business currently boasts an annual turnover of around £75m and employs almost 2,000 people across its five divisions.

Jones is likely to feature on the inaugural Women 1st Top 100 listing, along with Angela Hartnett, MBE, and has also been shortlisted in the Lifetime Achievement category of the Shine Awards, which take place on 31 March at the newly refurbished Savoy Hotel, London.
