Youngs launches royal wedding ale

Youngs has become the latest pub company to produce a beer marking the Royal Wedding, with the aptly-named Prince of Ales.

The beer, in honour of the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton, will be available from 15 April until 2 May.

Youngs said the brew was "full-bodied" with a "clean bitter taste, balanced with sweet malty, fruity notes and a distinctive dry-hop aroma".

Selected Youngs pubs will sell the beer on the day of the wedding (29 April) at £2 per pint until 2pm.
