Stuart Bowery appointed general manager of Grosvenor House, London
London's Grosvenor House hotel has appointed Stuart Bowery as its new general manager.
Bowery, who has over 30 years experience in the hotel industry, will take over the running of the JW Marriott hotel from the current general manager Anthony Stewart-Moore on 3 May.
Bowery was previously the general manager at the London Marriott hotel, County Hall, a position he had held since 2003. Since 2006 he was also responsible for seven London Marriott hotels as cluster general manager. This included overseeing the launch of Twickenham Marriott hotel on behalf of the Rugby Football Union in 2009.
Ed Hubennette, Marriott area vice-president UK South and Ireland, said of the appointment: "Stuart's strong track record in the luxury segment will stand him in good stead for this exciting and challenging new position. I congratulate and wish him all the success at Grosvenor House."
