Kudos wins £1.3m deal at Derby Live venues
Kudos has won a £1.3m banqueting and retail contract with Derby City Council at two of its live music and entertainment venues.
The hospitality provider, part of the Crown Group, will provide services at the Assembly Rooms (pictured) and the Guildhall Theatre as part of the two-year deal.
Both venues are managed by Derby Live - the arts arm of the council, which engages with more than 300,000 people annually through projects across the city.
Kudos will be responsible for offering food and retail services for visitors, staff and guests at both sites, as well as providing sales and marketing support to the venue teams.
Jon Pryce, managing director of Kudos, said: "We are really pleased to have entered into this partnership with Derby Live. We are looking forward to using our food and venue know-how to help develop and support the existing infrastructure at the venue.
"We have some of the best chefs in the business and we are excited about developing menus that are reflective of the calibre of events held at Derby Live."
The food and venue experts operate similar contracts with venues at Nottingham Royal Centre, Harrogate International Centre and the Brighton Centre.
