Ben Seager worked as a commis chef while studying hospitality management in South Africa. In his final year he was recruited by the Chesterfield Mayfair as part of its training programme before being promoted to front office manager in 2008. He is now part of the executive team and takes on the role of senior manager at weekends. His outstanding work in this role won him the Hotel Catey Front of House Manager of the Year award in 2010.
